I just wanted to share this post for all of the haters of this manufacturer and this gun. So 13 days ago I read an aritical about the recoil rod spring slipping as an avid Taurus gun owner and a of an owner of this gun the Taurus pt111 jumped online talked to get be best customer service in the business. 13 days and you I just pulled this from my mailbox. Don’t believe all the bullshit you read on YouTube I aquired this part just as a precaution. I have ran over 5k in just regular ball rounds and another 1k of hollow points through it. Never a defect. I clean it put it up for the next time… Thanks Taurus I love it.
